Pamela J. Starr is a certificated/certified paralegal who launched a successful virtual paralegal business in 2008. As a former BigLaw paralegal and a current business owner, Pamela is uniquely qualified to help other transitioning professionals carve out their own unique niches in this ever-evolving economy.

Applying 25+ years of paralegal experience, Pamela created StarrParalegals, LLC, to provide motion-based, virtual paralegal services to attorneys specializing in Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights, Commercial Transactions and UCC – anywhere in the US.

In 1983, Pamela graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with BA in Political Science and from Southwestern Paralegal Institute in Houston – one of the first ABA approved paralegal certification programs in the US – as a certificated paralegal; in 2006, she became a Certified Bankruptcy Assistant (“CBA”); and on May 20, 2012, she received a Master of Science of Law (“J.S.M.”), cum laude, in Bankruptcy & Restructuring/E-commerce from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Training and Development from Roosevelt University.

Considered a leader in Atlanta’s paralegal community for over 15 years, Pamela is often sought out as a speaker, webinar presenter, and guest blogger. Building on her expertise as a successful business woman and virtual paralegal, she has been published in the National Paralegal Reporter; the e-book, Sixty-Six Tips from Your Virtual Paralegal Success Team, and The Paralegal Mentor e-article, “Virtual Paralegals’ Top Ten Favorites”; featured in the December 2010 issue of BankruptcyProfessional.com, named as a 2011 Paralegal Superstar by ParalegalGateway, and nominated, by her peers, as a 2011 Georgia Powerhouse Paralegal.
